It has been a while since I have posted on this blog and there have been a few changes in the Hunter household. We are celebrating two big milestones in our house with our youngest child turning 3 and our eldest child turning 16!
For James (3) this has meant saying goodbye to his toddler bed and hello to his big boy bed. We have also changed his room from a nursery to a big boy room. Dinosaurs are his obsession as present so a dinosaur room it is. We have dinosaur wall decals from Bright Star kids and beautiful Freckles bed linen.
We are also trying to move along with toilet training without much luck so far! While I am looking forward to no nappies I am also sad at the prospect at no longer needing my cloth nappy stash. I love them all so much and am still undecided what to do with them. I know there are a few customs from Wild Child, Widdlewuns, Cherubs Kiss and CRG I will not be able to part with easily!
Now my first born child Christopher is turning 16! how did that happen? The most exciting milestone for him and the most concerning for his parents is the fact he can get his learners permit. The thought of him driving our car is very scary. His father is going to have to handle the driving lessons as I do not think my nerves can handle it. My mum taught me to drive and when I think back now I realise she must have had nerves of steel.
Christopher is also tackling grade 11 and the workload that comes with senior school. This is proving to be a challenge but I am sure he will make it through.
So while I am a bit sad that my boys are growing up I am also excited to see what is in store for them both.
